falling in line with my high prediction, that increase is a very good sign.

Though complete opposites in scale, that makes Hunger Games down 76.7% since Sunday, while I Am Number Four was down 78.3% since its first Sunday. I Am Number Four ended up having a 160.7% Friday increase.

Anything over a 130% Friday increase would be fantastic in my book.

no doubt, I'm hoping for the 150%+ kill, but as my predictions already indicate, I'm in the more realistic 130%-140% range.

Fast Five was down 81% since Sunday and went up 158% on Friday. The reason I bring it up? Because Fast Five also lost all its IMAX screens.

Hunger Games has been outperforming Fast Five the last two days, but Thor makes for much stronger competition than Wrath and Mirror Mirror. I'm remaining confident Games can hit $20m today.

If it has a 160% on friday, what would that mean for the possible weekend estimate?

It just needs a 145% increase to get to 20m Friday. Very doable with weak comp.

Last year after the same Monday drop Sucker Punch increased by 97% and Paul by 104%. Don't get too excited. And since then 2 openers with 50-60m combined gross is called week competion in Spring?

A 120 - 130% Friday increase for THG is probable.

Also if a film gets a strong opening Saturday it also does well in subsequent Saturday's.

Looking at Spider Man 3 that increased around 45%+ on Saturday.

So I expect a 2nd Saturday around 25-27 million.
Record is Spider Man with 30 million
TDK 28.7 million.
Avatar is 28 million
Shrek 2 is 27 million
Alice is 27 million
Spider Man 3 with 25 million

So looking around a 62 million weekend...

Anything over 18 million gives around 60 million.
