Boy do I wish I would have seen the most recent trailers for The Amazing Spider-Man and The Watch before predicting. My 177 Million prediction for Spider-Man is definitely too low. My prediction for The Watch is way too high. That won't be a 100 Million grosser. |

lol, Prometheus gets its maybe-maybe-not R three days after the deadline.  This hardly seals question no. 9, though. It's still a hard sci-fi movie. General audiences, in their "infinite wisdom," could still easily spend more on That's My Boy or even The Watch.

I'd have taken Prometheus over anything left. Went with TE2 since it was the only thing confirmed R non-comedy. |

Apparently Dark Shadows is shit. Fucked. Bumped up to $125m from $85m. Idiocy. If only David hadn't put such a ridiculous high amount that I thought there would actually be a passionate fanbase out to see this and if good it would do well. Ah, that's what you get for chickening out. |

Well no offense to David but his Dark Shadows prediction is laughable . You really might not be that far off. Should at least approach 100 Million if it doesn't pass it. Where did you even read it was shit? I've read mixed things but there have been a good amount of reviews that are positive. I could see it ending up just fresh on RT (like between 60-64%). Besides, even if critics didn't love it audiences could enjoy it quite a bit. |

I don't understand why you guys think TE2 will do less than 100 mill. The trailer is fantastic and I think it opens with more than 50 mill. It will be the biggest R rated film this year. |

I predicted 125 Million for it. I do see it doing more than the first and wouldn't even be too surprised if it did better than my prediction. The first did quite well in DVD sales. |

Exactly, and this brings Arnold Bruce and Sly together, and not just for a 90 second scene. I think people are way underestimating this. |
