Crowd Reports March 16-18
Lyrics to stupid songs are obviously killing these threads, so I propose stupid gifs.

Re: Crowd Reports March 16-18
It's not my fault subsequent posters posted hipstertastic song lyrics and ruined the allure.
Anyway, I'll be seeing 21 Jump Street with a girlfriend in a few hours so I shall report the event later.

Saw Casa de mi Padre at 5:50. Trailers included American Reunion and Safe. There were maybe eight people there.

21 Jump Street 7:00 PM, 500-seater, 50% full
Trailers: Lockout American Reunion That's My Boy Neighborhood Watch The Avengers MIB3
The Movie: Definitely deserves the great reviews. Hilarious and a surprisingly good story for a comedy.

Re: Crowd Reports March 16-18
21 Jump Street 8:00 show, 400-seat theater, sold out.
Trailers American Reunion The Cabin in the Woods The Dictator Chernobyl Diaries Men in Black III That's My Boy
Movie Rightfully taking an entirely different approach than the melodramatic TV show, 21 Jump Street is high-energy and consistently hilarious. The film's biggest asset is the pairing of Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum; we already know Hill can do great comedy, but Tatum is hilarious here. B+
Crowd loooved it. Especially a certain cameo that occurs near the end. I sense good word-of-mouth coming (and good counterprogramming for the Hunger Games bonanza).

Re: Crowd Reports March 16-18
21 Jump Street 8:15 PM, 200-seater, 90% full
Trailers: Dark Shadows American Reunion That's My Boy The Avengers MIB3 The Raven
The Movie: As the reviews have already stated this movie is a hilarious and fun ride from beginning to end. I honestly don't think I have ever laughed so much during a movie. The combination of Tatum and Hill was fucking genius and you really feel like the both of them have some great chemistry together. Tatum especially suprised the hell out me. The dude is genuinely funny and I hope he does more comedies in the future. Even Ice Cube was great in this and what a badass cameo towards the end. B+
