Re: The Amazing Spiderman (INTL.)
It should have atleast crossed $500m OS. Sony really messed this one up, they could have given it more breathing space by releasing it earlier in June over some of the markets. With TDKR and IA4 releasing so close the movie suffered big drops in its second and third weekend, after that it didn't matter with good legs.

I think if the next one looks great (ie. eye candy, plenty of action, great villian etc) and gets good reviews/wom - its on for $1B WW

Re: The Amazing Spiderman (INTL.)
I am still surprised that Spidey being that beloved has not even a single movie till date to get $1B WW total.

Re: The Amazing Spiderman (INTL.)
To be fair, TDK is the only WW $1B film and it only just made it. The majority of its gross was thanks to NA too. Spidey 3's OS total is bigger than TDKs but its NA gross was low.
Still Batman and Spidey are easily the biggest superheroes worldwide.

Re: The Amazing Spiderman (INTL.)
haha yes off-course, I meant individual.
So i'd love to see what Spidey in an Avengers film would bring to the WW BO!!

Re: The Amazing Spiderman (INTL.)
Personally I am disappointed how Sony handled this in OS markets. They could have released it a week or two earlier in OS markets to distance it from IA4 and TDKR combo, that would have easily helped it push past $500m OS mark by now and it might have come close to $550m.
