I don't have any idea of how it will perform,

does anybody know how many animated films have had midnight showings??,, which one has grossed the most???

As much as I love Pixar, I can see this doing under 40m OW. I'm surprised no one starts any kind of 'Cars 2 is going to be a major failure' yet.

Don't know how this will fare, I don't see a built up demand for this to been seen at midnights. I know Pixar films are having their own demographs including all ages still teens/adults really won't be that excited for Cars2 midnights. Having midnights might help its OD, so why not just release it and give it a try ;)

Every film has midnights(almost). Bigger they are wider they go during midnights. Wall-E made 1.8M while TS3 made 3.5M midnights. I dont think Cars 2 audience will be eager to see this at midnight and so this will be on the lower end.

Cars is extremely popular with kids and this is having strong marketing as well. Why on earth do you think it will lose 60-70% of audience during its OW?????????????

how can you feel that??, under 40m??, wth?? Cars 2 won't definitely have the KFP 2 fate,, this one will absolutely be part of the top 3 summer films,, however I don't see cars 2 making money at midnight showings, kids will be sleeping to catch it on openng day,,,
