So a bigger percentage of midnight gross comparing to Fast Five. For the weekend, could go anywhere between 63 and 75m (I'm expecting a 2.7 IM without midnight counted). |

And that's awesome for JUMPING THE BROOM. |

That was posted at 4pm PST. How can you make any kind of predictions based on West Coast only matinees? You can't. I'd be surprised if these numbers are accurate. |

Looks like JTB will take over SB this weekend....really poor for WB, there movies have been doing less than moderate this year. |

Would be great to see Fast Five hold that well, but a $40m weekend would mean it's set to increase nearly 200% today. That would be something. |

She changes her numbers way too often to be reliable, especially with this whole "Rentrak is down" fracas. |

I'm hoping Water For Elephants makes more than 6 Million for the weekend. While still a very good hold it leaves a bit to be desired. Maybe my expectations are just too high, but it deserves to do well. |

BK wrote: They won't be but Thor fanboys are already celebrating victory. For a weekend opening like that, why shouldn't they celebrate for a comic character as hard as this one was to bring to the big screen??? How's this any different than how all of you celebrated TDK OW when it came out??? ![]() |

23 M is still very good for a property like Thor. Opening weekend like Hulk 1 and 2 and slightly better drop off but not much. Gonna take a hit next weekend with Priest which caters to the same demo and then another big hit with Pirates the following weekend. Thor better make its cash fast. |

With Rentrak's system acting up, I bet Thor will come in at $25m+. |
