Re: Fast Five (INTL) $369m and counting...
$378,300,000 coming off a $5.9 million weekend.
It doesn't need to outperform the predecessor by much in Japan to pas $400 million overseas. It should be at $385+ million overseas by the time it's released in Japan.
Looks like we'll see around $610 million worldwide.

it can make close to 390M with holdovers. So 400M OS is also happening.

Re: Fast Five (INTL) $376m and counting...
Just wondering how much Fast Six (or whatever it will be named) can make after this over-performance. Given the WOM on this one I am sure we will see increase in OS total, if they try and make it in 3D we can see $800m WW total

Re: Fast Five (INTL) $376m and counting...
It is currently at #63 in Worldwide list. It is sure to cross The Passion Of the Christ (unadjusted) for #56, if it overperforms in Japan there is a chance it can overtake last years Iron Man 2 in Worldwide total, which would be amazing.

$385 million overseas now. With Japan ahead, $400 million is pretty much a lock.

Looks like it will reach $600m WW total even before Japan or will be extremely close to it

Re: Fast Five (INTL) $385m and counting...
All kinds of amazing. It is a lock to remain in the yearly Top 10 overseas and worldwide, becoming the first F&F movie to do so if I remember correctly.

Re: Fast Five (INTL) $385m and counting...
It is at #59 in All Time List...if it over-performs in Japan it could crack $632m and probably pass KFP2 for #50 WW still I am sure KFP2, TF3 and HP7.2 will bring its total down and TH2 has a good shot to overtake it too. Cars2 will do it but will take more time.

The previous 4 movies got better and better internationally:
1 $63m 2 $109m 3 $96m 4 $198m
I think FAST FIVE will do somewhere between $250m-$350m internationally... That's the first post of this thread. It is really amazing that the 5th installment grosses 6 times as much as the first... And I never imagined that my up to $350m prediction is still off...

Re: Fast Five (INTL) $393m and counting...
It has slowed down considerably everywhere, I don't see it reaching $610m WW total now still though amazing number. This weekend it should have been kicked out of most of the remaining markets whatever small(er) screens it might have. Though China might still be helping it for this week till TF3 releases.

It still has Japan in October ahead - F&F4 did $10m over there...

Re: Fast Five (INTL) $393m and counting...
Dang I totally forgot Japan, I somehow thought it is already out there. So a $15m-$20m total from Japan would mean $620m-$630m total...amazing

$394.3m total, it would need Japan to get $400m OS total.

Re: Fast Five (INTL) $393m and counting...
It has not made into any of the reports on how much it is making now. BOM has it at $394.1m OS total which is lower than reported on Jul 27th. Looks like Hangover 2 is not passing this after all, though KFP2 might marginally pass it in the end, Japan can add at a max of $30m IMO to F5's gross.

$394,541,313
These updates came after almost 2 weeks and are still from 31-July which makes me think it is now out of all (expect one or two) its markets and is now waiting for its Japan release.

Re: Fast Five (INTL) $393m and counting...
It seems that studios have stopped tracking this movie domestically from 11th August. Finished with a smidgen below $210m (still amazing) at $209,837,675.
OS total is also now a little below $400m at $395,600,000. With Japan still ahead that is a given. Looking at $625m-$630m WW total now. Currently at $605,437,675
