So Monday-to-last-Tuesday drop (since last Monday was holiday) is 22.7%, and considering the midweek hold should get a little better, it's looking at another sub-20% week-to-week drop going into this weekend.

It better have a sub 20% drop this weekend.
I'm expecting a sub 10% drop.

So no recovery from the awful Sunday drops it seems.

Interesting take BK, seeing as how its a better drop than Titanic had comparatively, after Titanic had a way worse Sunday drop.

Its another stellar number. :shades:

It will be close. I'm thinking about 3.3M Thursday which would be awesome if
it had anything close to it's Fri/Sat increases last week. 30M+ would be likely.

Shouldn't expect too great of drops (edit: meaning should expect some mediocre drops) considering the Monday crowd was extra satisfied last weekend.

Monday drops should generally be significantly worse than post MLK Tuesday drops, and Avatar's is barely worse.

Also Monday is more likely to follow suit from Sunday rather that recover from.

On the last point, why is that so?

I think it's because if people aren't going Sunday, it's due to having to go back to work/school the next day, so those crowds aren't going Monday either, day or night, for the same reason.

I suppose one might expect a little more recovery today though if football is what hurt most on Sunday.

Okay, but is it not obvious football did hurt it? 52m viewers and over 50% drops on Sunday for some.

It looks like there is no recovery. We will see Tuesday increases? Or is it possible there is no recovery anywhere?
Thoughts?

Also, lol at CBS, EM will report dailies on Friday.

Fox numbers are up.

Avatar 3.1 fell by 1-2%

Now I'd like to ask the more experienced. Why has there not been any recovery from Sunday??

Kids movies fell by more than 12%! on a Tuesday they are supposed to increase!

What are the explanations? Why has there been no recovery? (and kind of opposite of recovery)

So far the women movies have only increased.
