Hopefully the Communist government falls within the next decade. Motherfuckers don't deserve to subject all the Chinese to their shit principles. Corrupted clowns. That's not gonna happen. You'll see the fall of the EU and USA sooner than the fall of Chinese government, you capitalist bastard. Fuck democracy. Whoa there. I'm not saying the EU or USA isn't full of corruption either but at least the people have more of a concept of rights. The Chinese government just had a blackout on any coverage of a high-speed rail crash. Defend that. They are just greedy, corrupted bastards as well, no different from Europeans or Americans or capitalists. Oh, but there's hardly a chance they get prosecuted for their negligence. When the Arab Spring was ongoing they had a social media blackout. They are scared, corrupted motherfuckers as I said.

Re: China Box Office (Transformers 3: 404m yuan/$62m 4-day)
Early weekly estimate for TF3: 410m yuan ($63.6m). The total would then be 814m yuan, or $126m.

Re: China Box Office (Transformers 3: $120m+ in 11 days)
Absolutely amazing and it would be quite close to Avatar in the end , though it seems that it fell quite hard this weekend. With HP releasing next weekend it should be seeing another big decline. If that $126m estimate is close then it should get very close to $1b mark this weekend.

Re: China Box Office (Transformers 3: $119m in 11 days)
The actual for China is out: 362m yuan from last week ($56.22m), and 766m yuan total ($118.9m). It certainly didn't perform as strong on the weekend as it was during the week, so with HP opening on Thursday, we should be looking at a 50%+ weekly drop. Adjusting my total projection to 1.1b yuan, or $170m.

Re: China Box Office (Transformers 3: $119m in 11 days)
I expected it to be close to $62m for the whole week, so that is a huge drop this weekend. Still though it was much better than the reported $113.7m from rest of the sources.

Re: China Box Office (Transformers 3: $119m in 11 days)
Wow, Transformers is performing amazingly well. That gross is higher, though. I suspect it would be closer to $125M if the truth were known. But that's brilliant anway for such a bad film. I think it might beat Avatar.

Look like for midnight, Harry Potter did about 40% of what TF3 got.

Re: China Box Office (Transformers 3: $119m in 11 days)
A typhoon is headed straight for Shanghai and is expected to make landfall on Sunday. I heard from the news report that Shanghai is facing one of the most severe typhoons in a decade. Do not be surprised if grosses come in lower than expected.

Re: China Box Office (HP7.2 battles TF3)
Looks like HP is on track for a $20-24m opening 4 days, good but not spectacular. TF3 has a good shot repeating this week.

Re: China Box Office (HP7.2 battles TF3)
Even though it is full week vs opening that is not really great for HP. Still though that should be a very good opening when comparing with the franchise. $50m is a lock and with that opening I see it somewhere between $65m-$70m total from China.

Looks like Shanghai will be spared the brunt of the storm so Sunday's grosses should not be affected too much.

Re: China Box Office (HP7.2 battles TF3)
Looks like HP is ahead of TF3 for the week after all. The early estimates from mtime showed 195m yuan for HP and 172m yuan for TF3. That'd be a 52.5% drop for TF3.

Re: China Box Office (HP7.2 battles TF3)
That would mean around $30m for HP and about $25m for TF3. Not really sure how accurate these estimates could be cause last time they reduced quite frequently.

30 millions in 4 days vs 33 mln part1 total should be pretty good.
