Re: Longlegs weekend thread The article says 10-15 Million for the weekend after 2.5-3 Million in previews. Come on! This is going 20+. The Black Phone did 3 in previews and opened to 23.6 Million.

Re: Longlegs weekend thread Charlie is saying 10m with previews. I think it will go up a bit from that. Fly me looks like utter disaster. It still has BO from early shows which were not reported yesterday but I am expecting overall friday including everything to be < 4m.

Re: Longlegs weekend thread It's crazy that only a week ago, $2M would have seemed more likely for Longlegs than $20M. Neon did an amazing job with last minute marketing, making it feel like a true must-see event for horror fans. This is gonna be one of those breakout performances that will slightly reshape the box office and our expectations of it. Everytime an indie horror starts to gain buzz we shall ask "is this the next Longlegs?"
