Other than Star Wars:

>Frozen II was down about 38% Sat.-to-Sat., which is a little higher than expected, but not too alarming as long as it delivers on Sunday. Last Sunday was a bit deflated, so it should recover tomorrow and likely drop around 25/30% for the weekend.

>My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising, the second film based on the popular manga/anime franchise, enjoyed a good start, having a Saturday slightly higher than its predecessor by around 2/3%. It's aiming for a third place debut.

>The latest Kamen Rider film (I'll look up its title later, I'm in a hurry at the moment), is doing its thing and will basically debut with a similar opening as some of of the franchise's recent entries. It's also aiming for a third place debut, but it'll probably settle for fourth.

>How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World will just barely debut in the Top 10, and it's not doing very well, but at least it received a theatrical release in the market this time.

Strong Sunday so far, basically on track for 270,000 or so again, on par with its predecessors.

School holiday on monday can help animated movie in late afternoon and evening on sunday?

If they skew young enough. And for Frozen II, it is skewing young and will benefit. Just not as much as a film like Yo-Kai Watch.

Saturday -38% in tickets sold but since last Saturday was Toho discount so maybe the drop in money is around 30%?
Does school holiday really start from next monday? It does not seem like that based on the sunday number so far...

Star Wars slowed down a bit in the evening, and will come in below its predecessors (probably just shy of 250,000) for the day (and weekend). It'll end up being down around 10%.

Frozen II is probably headed for a drop around 35% for the weekend. Sunday's evening business did pick up some, but not enough to provide a better hold. A tad higher than it should be falling, and another sign that it's not going to suddenly spawn amazing legs moving forward.

Anything above $140M at the end is already a massive win for Elsa and co this time.

Hope Frozen 2 can approach $100M after these 2 holidays week.

Yes I speak about that, how much could reach Frozen 2 and SW9 by 5th January after holidays, Christmas, new year ... ? And how much could they add after that ?
