 Charlie St. Cloud Predictions
Sorry, if there is already a thread. I'm predicting this movie to be the breakout hit for July. It should open to at least $20 million and if WOM/reviews/buzz are strong enough and if it can survive Step Up 3D in it's 2nd weekend, it could make it to $100m.

I don't think this will make 100m but it could be a sleeper hit this summer.

I can see a $25m OW. The trailer is pretty good and Effron should be bring in the ladies.

Efron can easily make this movie open well. Though I am doubtful about the legs because I see this being frontloaded by teenage girls
27/60m

27/60m Yeah, with competition with Step Up 3D, and Eat Pray and Love. The only way it'll have good legs is if WOM is strong and attracts adults 25+ or Step Up and/or EPL doesn't do well

 Re: Charlie St. Cloud Predictions
I think Step-Up is very different that this still attracting the same crowd which could hurt it more and the early reviews for it has been good. EPL even if bad will generate some good WOM and will steal away all the adult audience this might have. Even with good WOM I don't see this crossing 17 Again which had Perry's support as well.

A lot of my girlfirneds are super interested in this movie. I can see it doing quite well. 31/80m seems reasonable.

Exactly. If they don't know how to behave, and feel OK offending others, they get their ass kicked, so they'll think next time before opening their rotten mouths.

Universal will come back for sure this year, with Despicable Me, This and Nanny McPhee, it looks like they will make close to 700WW on just 120 worth of budgets.
