36 million seems extremely low.

Trek dropping 45% would not be 36 as in her report, it would be 41.

Now she says it's having "very solid" matinees. Who knows what's going on.

I predicted 38 million so this sounds about right to me.

It's a holiday in Canada on Monday, so add $2-3 m on its Sunday tally. It will get a very good Sunday drop.

A mid 40s OW is still solid, I never expected it to be huge. Overseas it should still do over 300m.

That's basically Mason's numbers. She probably saw it and used it.

Re: the tread title... Okay, how often will she revise this? or way to early Nikkis...

There's a simple solution - - ignore her early estimates and wait for the more reliable estimates to come in much later.

I bet some of the oldtimers here remember waiting for the Monday morning paper to get their first glimpse at how the BO had done the previous weekend. You damn kids are spoiled these days, and BTW - - get off my lawn!!!

:grrr:

Indeed Bradley. I wrote a thread about this sort of thing a few years back "A History of BO Violence: A Memoir" (cant seem to find it in search) and I recounted how it used to be Tuesdays when I got the top 3 BO estimates and now by Friday night we are getting early numbers and worse yet we have tracking weeks in advance!!

I have been tracking BO for a while and I can say nikki is ahead of mason 90%. She is also not that far off on the openers. Her numbers on the holdovers are always bit suspect.
