I have no idea, I mean, TS3 has more screens than Inception has, seven weekends after it came out.

Salt disspointed, there's no other word for that opening, It wasn't even able to beat SA and DM on their second weekends, also awesome hold for Inception.

YAY! TS3 passed $60m.

Yeah Salt flopped in Mexico. I was kind of shocked by that considering its strong performance elsewhere. And Jolie even showed up in Cancun to promote it if I remember correctly.

maybe its because it was heavily marketed like an event film unlike Inception... ? but you know, its a family film, Which they do rather good over here.

Apparently Mexicans have terrible taste, for Salt to flop and Inception to underperform AND TSA to do well. Lame.

It is Mexico.

Stop acting like Salt flopping there matters.

Stop acting like Mexico matters at all beyond Cancun and Baja as destination spots.

Animated films always do great bussines here.

Despicable Me had an enormous screen count, it was almost as big as TS3's, Universal gave it an amazing push, unlike WB and Inception, every penny Inception is making is because of WOM, It seems WB just threw Inception there, barely promoted it and gave it an awful release.

what I mean is that looking at numbers dreamworks, fox blue sky and now illumination (universal) are leading the animation market in Mexico over pixar films (ts3 is the unique exception),,,

contrary with TS3, Inception didnt do quite well in Latin America,,,
