The numbers are absolutely massive, bordering on unbelievable, but I can only help but wonder how much it'll drop today. |

It'll still end with less than 80 mil Saturday drop will be fucking huge. Franchise + Friday night teen audience + Horror + Friday the 13th Gimmick = HUGE MOTHERFUCKING DROP. |

Shopaholic's marketing came too hard too early, I think. The jokes got old two months ago. Also He's Just Not That Into You hurt it. Still not a bad weekend though. |

Should still make in the teens that day and 80M is the bare minimum it should make. The TCM remake opened with 28M opening weekend and made over 80M. |

80m-100m on saturday guaranteed, 115m if 04s saturday increase is matched. And 50m for a friday in feb. is insane. |

The heavily frontloaded CLOVERFIELD did $46.1m over the long MLK weekend after a $17.2m Friday (4 day IM = 2.69), same IM for F13 would result in a 53.8m 4 day weekend |

This time, they should get Nispel back for the sequel. Friday, August 13, 2010 is a good date. ![]() |

What's so surprising about a 50m Friday or a 100m day? You mean to say even in summer there has never been a 100m day? I always thought that there was or has always been a 100m day with huge 40m Saturdays from Shrek and Spider Man etc |

Heh. I guess. Is Mason always accurate for openers? Like for Taken and Blart was he on? His multipliers are bad if I remember correctly? Because either than F13s breakout fantastic #s, International & Shopaholic are too low for my liking. |

I always thought that there was or has always been a 100m day with huge 40m Saturdays from Shrek and Spider Man etc not even the infamous TDK could push the BO over 100m for a a single day. And no friday in february or outside the summer/holiday seasons have ever topped 50m. |

Because either than F13s breakout fantastic #s, International & Shopaholic are too low for my liking. He's usually mostly accurate on openers. When he's off, he underestimates. He underestimated The Uninvited's OD, for instance. On another note, Michael Bay as a producer is on fire. Two months, two hits. |

This year is insane. We will have 2 $100m in January, $1b January. If BJ is correct about 50m Fri and 100m Sat then we are looking at almost $ 200m 3-day weekend in February and $225-230m 4 day weekend. |

This weekend is utter insanity. I love it. Incredible for Friday the 13th, likely crazy good 4-day numbers for He's Just Not..., Taken and Coraline. Shopaholic did pretty well considering its awful timing and The International is...OK. |
