What do you see as the 2007 $200, $300, and $400 m grossers? $400 m Shrek 3 $402 m $300 m Spider-man 3 $340 m POTC 3 $335 m $200 m HP5 $255 m Ratatouille $250 m Rush Hour 3 $235 m NT 2 $225 m Bourne 3 $205 m Bee Movie $200 m Fred Clause (Elf like run) The most $200 m films we've had in a year has been 8. With Shrek, HP, Spider-man, POTC, Ratatouille, RH3, Bourne 3, and NT, I think that's at least 8 $200 m films right there, along with what could be another big cg animated film (Bee Movie), and a few other surprises. |

I don't think there will be a 400M film this year. Shrek, Spidey, and Pirates will all be over 300M though. I agree that Ratatouille, HP5, and Fred Clause will pass 200M. I think your other choices have the potential, but only two out of you other 5 will make it. I wouldn't count out Bridge to Terabithia and/or The Golden Compass (especially the latter). |

Good to see you have Bee Movie there. It should be quite huge. Here are mine: $400 m Shrek 3 $401 m (Though I can see it dropping to $370m due to POTC3) $300 m Spider-man 3 $379 m POTC 3 $361 m $200 m HP5 $270 m Transformers $227 m Bee Movie $220 m National Treasure 2 $216 m (This may benefit from the release of Dan Brown's new book Solomon Key about US history) Rush Hour 3 $200 m (Though I usually predict this at $190m) Bourne 3 $200 m (Again I can see this doing $185m but will give it the benefit of the doubt) Ratatoullie $200m (Though may not make it) Those that will just miss out or may be dark horses: I Am Legend, Beowulf, Fred Claus |
