Miami Vice is dropping super fast. It could be trailing Pirates by $500K entering the weekend. |

Did The Ant Bully increase again? It's pulling some crazy legs already after such a low opening. |

Zingaling wrote: Did The Ant Bully increase again? It's pulling some crazy legs already after such a low opening. Yeah, it's pretty crazy. With a 50% Friday increase, it can almost match last weekend's gross with a better multiplier. It has a chance to outgross Barnyard's opening. |

Even a 20-25% drop would have been very good. Now it looks like it'll fall even less than that. |

With such good legs during the week, it's unlikely Ant Bully will see a Friday increase much more than 30%, especially with Barnyard opening. Still, it is doing well. Miami Vice's drops are normal for a movie of it's type and audience. GO PIRATES!!!! |

MV fell about 14.5%, Tucker fell 15% and The Ant Bully Increased about 6%. I think thats Pretty good holds for the openers |

If it increases another 100k or so tomorrow, a 30% increase on Friday will still be under 20% drop from last friday. Why is Ant Bully doing good? |

well dailies can't be over 5 million unless Talladgea nights opens huge. Pirates is in its 4th week of weekdays so its doing very well. |

Damn, Ant Bully is crazy. Great for Pirates too. Vice dropped pretty hard... I don't think the WOM is so hot for that one. Tucker's big drop isn't really a worry, it just continues it's comparison to ACS as that movie dropped huge on it's first Wednesday too. The Monday drop was good enough anyways that even with bad day to day drops, its still having great weekdays. If it fell like a normal movie it would be at like 1.5-1.6 million on Monday. Also while it's day to day drops are a bit heavier than ACS, because of the Monday falling -30.5% instead of -36%, Tucker is still ahead in the dailies despite having an equal Sunday. |

Just wanted to note than now Pirates is tracking to Break 400 million a day or two before Shrek2 did. Can it actually pull off one more record? ITs got the fastst to 100,200,300, and potentially 400! Wow. |

Yeah, I know, IMAX, super low number to start with, etc. Ant Bully's numbers are still bizarre. Pirates and Prada keep on rolling. |

Supafroius - how is this tracking done? Do you have a source or is it your own model? I'm just curious because I'm a very interested observer of box office but am not in the entertainment field. I find all this tracking stuff fascinating! |
