Mostly in line with the projections. Good uptick for Clerks II!

Pirates is Now the #1 movie of the year in Canada.
Pirates gets only a 31% drop to $3,506,918 for the weekend and $28,909,320 total.
Thats almost double superman and is only 6 million away from Rots and 8 million and Hp4 and spiderman 2. It needs 39 million to beat Shrek 2 and it can do it with great legs like these. Its also making much much more on the week days then its opening weekend. It already has a multplier of 3.5 here. Amazing.
It also did 3.5X more then Monster house this weekend. Its dominating this market and will for weeks to come.

Man, I never thought I would care so much about a few hundred thousand for MH. After the disappointing surprise of the Saturday increase the Sunday drop was a nice surprise. But it would have been a good weekend anyway for me with the way LITW and Clerks II went down.

I think 400 looks good for POTC 2. I can't believe Devil Wears Prada is going to pass 100 million.

Yeah, I really like Prada's BO run. It's nice to see something really surprise and have great legs to earn a 100m+ gross. Rather then just another hyped movie that opens big.

Looks like 200m is still in play for sups after that awsome drop. it lost over 900 theaters and had 4 openers to compete with, but only fell 40%. The weekend drops have gotten better and better. I think if sups stay's above 2500 theater over the weekend it can get between a 40-35% Drop.
