No. Luhrmann is too much an of auteur to make a film that panders to every demographic the way a film would need to in order to have that kind of run.

I don't think so. That plot doesn't sound appealing enough. Driving cattle across the outback? It won't exactly draw them in.

It might do okay, but not great.

I don't know. Moluin Rouge was pretty appealing to some guys even though it was a drama-musicial. I think with that plot, he can do it.


What guys did Moulin Rouge appeal to? I think that's the only time I've ever wanted to kill myself . . .

no, i mean like a huge pearl harbour esque movie set against it with planning,drafy, training. plus d day was more then just that one beach. tehere were the para troop droppings, ect.



if this was set in the us i could see 300 million but its not. its austraila, so ill give it a good shot at 200 million.
