Um, is there anything that really needs to be discussed?

Big opening, bad legs.

Opening: 29.0
Total: 67.9 (2.34)

Date Movie almost tarnished its potential, but not too much.

Opening: $33 million
Total: $80 million

The movies it spoofs this time aren't as loved - War of the Worlds, The Village, and The Grudge. Saw II though is a good one. Its trailer isn't as laugh-out-loud as Scary Movie 3. I wouldn't be surprised though if it did reach $90 million. $100 million is out of the question.

Adjusted for inflation, Scary Movie 3 opened to $52.6 m, and finished with $120 m. I think this opening is $40 m +. Date Movie wasn't memorable enough to even effect Scary Movie 4.

The third movie had a lot more buzz and was far more with the times, it had more popular source material.

This one feels like its literally three years late. [The Village? The Grudge? Saw?] and it missed the 2005 material it needed.

I love the Scary Movie films and will be there on opening night, but I've got a feeling ill be dissapointed. The last one kind of sucked. They need to bring back the Wayans and the R-Rating.

No, they don't. The Wayans' completely lost their footing with their second flick. Scary Movie 3 was the first time in history I've been relieved that a film was PG-13.

Part 3 was diabolical. Absolute dire.

$37,000,000
$83,000,000

They'd be fools to bring back an R-rating. The last R-rated one pulled in a $20 million opening weekend on the Fourth of July weekend. Then, the PG-13 sequel grossed almost $50 million in its first weekend.

It doesn't take an expert to figure out that a lot of the audience is under the age of 17.

I don't think this has any chance of outgrossing the third one. The shift from R to PG-13 brought in a lot of new fans, but they don't have anything like that this time. I think this will end up doing just a little better than the second one.

Why are they still spoofing 'The Village?' That's such old news. The same with Saw to some extent although the pairing of Shaq and Dr. Phil is inspired. I wonder if that'll be the spoof to start the film off like 'The Ring' spoof that began the third one.

Only the first was any good.

I think it will still open well - $34m and finish with $80m.

Ice Age: The Meltdown will still be considered a March film, I think.

So, this is coming out next week and tracking at $55M.

Methinks I should up my prediction up a bit:

Opening: 41.0
Total: 96.8 (2.36)
