Does November of 2004 Resemble 1998's?
Do you see what these November weekend's have in common? Let's take a look:
First Weekend.
1998 - Waterboy
2004 - Incredibles
(Similarities - Disney record breaker).
Second Weekend.
1998 - I Still Know What You Did Last Summer
2004 - Seed of Chucky
(Similarities - Post Halloween Horror movies).
1998 - Meet Joe Black
2004 - Polar Express
(Similarities - Ambitious Star Powered Dissapointments).
Third Weekend.
1998 - Rugrats and Enemy of the State
2004 - Spongebob and National Treasure
(Similarities - Nickelodeon Cartoon vs. Disney/Bruckheimer).
And look it what happened. Nickelodeon won the first match, but Bruckheimer won the rematch. Weird, isn't it.

I think the only really meaningful comparisons are the post-Halloween horror sequels in the second week and the Nickelodeon/Bruckheimer showdown in the third. The latter is especially interesting, considering Rugrats beat Enemy of the State way back in 98 but this year National Treasure beat out Spongebob.

Wait, Enemy of the State was Bruckheimer/Disney? I was not aware that Disney was apart of that movie.

Technically it wasn't Disney persay, but it was Touchstone, a Disney affiliate.

hehe
Interesting comparison. It's odd that two Bruckheimers bucked up to two Nicktoons. Wierd how things like that happen. Scott, you have too much time on your hands

I only work part time, and I still live with my parents. I go on the computer because I get bored easily.

What about the 4th Weekend? Maybe Alexander will be #1 like A Bug's Life, and Christmas with the Kranks will flop like $115M bomb Babe: Pig in the City. Will that become true?
If 11/04 is not similar to 11/98, what is?

If 11/04 is not similar to 11/98, what is? Forget what I said. Since I heard bad reviews of Alexander from critics and audiences (esp. those who never seen it before ), I've decided that CWTK=Bug's Life (wide) and Alexander=Babe 2
