No surprises and just typical for a Tuesday: openers fell 10%, and most holdovers increased.

How exactly does Barnyard increase midweek when its a movie orientated at young kids? I'm confused.

How about adults who love to watch animated movies? Especially retired senior citizens who get discounts. I know of one...she never watches dramas..only animated movies because they're funny.

Well it only increased from Monday to Tuesday which movies typically do on a Tuesday. I work at a theater and I dunno why but kids movies always do best Tuesday first show as opposed to any other weekday. But I'm sure others can speak better than I can that other theaters run discount shows on Tuesdays as a way to try and draw people in and that's why things typically do rise on a Tuesday especially kids movies.
