Signature/avatar bets are quite boring. Think of some other fun bet...one that may entertain us, forum visitors.

Nah, the winner could take advantage of that by asking for something like this, return it for some money, and buy 5 DVDs. Hmm, maybe I should do that sometime...

Stakes suggestions:
1) The loser has to buy the winner a copy of the latest book. A signed copy if you really want to make it interesting.
2) You can have the loser pose around strangers downtown in any city in a wizard hat, robe and wand and post the photos.
3) The loser has to buy the winner a Harry Potter wand (merchandised item tie-in, in case that is confusing...)

That "something" is all too vague...
I'll think about the stakes a bit later, when I'm less tired, but Archie's 2nd suggestion is funny

Maybe not. But imagine the amounts of laughter. bABA in the center of Montreal with a wand, robe and a wizard hat

I think the last film will have the same effect that Reloaded had on Revolutions. The die hards will still flock to it but it won't do that well at the box office. Since I am lazy as well, I think the last film opened huge but ended with 247?? So I think you'll see a similar pattern with this one. It will open massively, meaning that 90-100 mill is possible, but it will fizzle out and make about 250-275. I think it will benefit from the summer weekdays so it might make more than the last one but not much.
So yes, 95 mill is a possiblity.

I am completely puzzled by this analogy.
And for the record, I do think HP4 will open to about $95m.
