Re: Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (05/05/17) predictions I understand that technically it will still be considered a success for the studio, but barely increasing off the first GOTG domestically and worldwide has to be seen as somewhat disappointing IMO. Granted we don't know how the rest of it's run will quite go, but this should have easily went over $400M domestic and $1B+ WW.

Re: Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (05/05/17) predictions No way after the monday drop. Movies that have strong legs show that with better than holdovers monday drop. This just had a normal drop and so will behave like any big blockbuster sequel. Max 2.5x legs.

Re: Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (05/05/17) predictions 2.5-2.6 should be good enough for this to get to #1 Summer movie IMO and $365m-$380m, if it gets to high end of that number, it won't be far from $400m
