Re: The Great Gatsby Predictions I'm really excited for this even though I think there's a huge chance it disappoints as Luhrmann is hit and miss for me. Could easily go either way. Am loving the snippets of music I've heard though, save for that Fergie song. Re: The Great Gatsby Predictions I don't know about $40M+, but $30M+ is looking really good. I'm surprised at how good the marketing is during the Playoffs.
Smart decision by WB to not completely aim it a female audiences, but also make it look appealing to guys. The music choices are very interesting as well.

Buzz has picked up significantly in the past few weeks - I've been seeing nonstop TV spots and the anticipation for the film's soundtrack as well is only helping it build momentum.

I guess $40M+ isn't too hard to believe after all. Buzz will only continue to build from here on out, but I really can't see it opening lower than $30M. It has ALOT going for it.
