Seen it. Its cute but nothing special, and i heard that Natalie Portman studied for a year to play a scientist, and 95 % of the shots are her.

Problem is film felt short, very short, and the evil frost giants were pretty forgettable excuse for cgi.

Lead was decent, but is unknown, Hopkins phoned it in aka Marlon Brando.

Neither the property, the muscular blond, or the ballerina(*) can pull in the audience needed to get this anywhere near 300M.

Now Captain America...If it wasn't opening so late in the summer 200+ easy (i am still trying to figure out why its opening AFTER july 4th) but since it is, 200 maybe....but if not pretty close. The Trailer looks great and people are going to be buzzin about how they jenny craigied the lead. Could be a turd but it looks fun and Chris Evans knows how to ham it up to good effect and is nice eye candy.

With the death of Bin Laden, and ObaMao taking full credit victory laps (good thing we interrogated those poor guys), the koolaid drinkers might decide america is cool again and push it over 200.

Only films that are shoe in contenders for 300 are transformers, pirates (very iffy), cars and Potter might squeek it since its the last one...but only if it gets lots of repeat veiwing from dedicated fans.
