Now it has been released everywhere except for Japan (not much to expect here) and Italy. Looks like it'll finish in the vicinity of $450 million overseas and will just miss $700 million worldwide.

Re: SHREK 4 (INTL) About 300m now though it should not be able to cross more than 400m. It is good number though for Shrek caliber movie it is not all that great. I expected 450m+ OS gross.

I mean it made $52 million this weekend...how bad do you expect its legs to be? And it still has Italy ahead in which the last two Shrek films made over $28 million each...

The key word there was "more than". I know it will make 400m still I don't think so it will cross 450m. We are talking about 150m. The drops are not that great in the holdover markets. Next weekend it should be falling to 30-35m, add another 30m for the week making its gross to be about 350m. Another 100m after that would be difficult
