There was a Drive-in about 30 minutes from me (before I moved, 4 hours away now) and most double features were totally different films. Terminator 3/Legally Blonde 2 is an example of one I attended in 2003. I don't think two very similar films, especially from the same studio, would be paired together.

Anyway, you payed one set price (the same for a single film around here) for the double feature, which usually began about 8/9PM with a short intermission after the first movie. It was a single showing a night.

I guess it depends on the drive-in, but the one near where I used to live almost always paired up films from the same studio. I remember Memorial Day 2000, they did a triple feature of Snow Day, MI2 (the main feature obviously), and Sleepy Hollow. Obviously only one show a night.

How many cars does one drive-in take approximately?

I saw one with Clear and Present Danger and the Shadow once, me and my parents left the shadow midway through. At age 7 I knew that was a terrible film.

$198,700,000 after six weekends. It slowed down considerably. Won't be released in Japan until the end of the year, though.

This is like a cat and mouse chase between 2 200m budgeted movies. Who gets the bigger WW number. Though OS PoP will win and Domestically no question RH will lead. Though with huge overseas total PoP is definitely leading ahead now.

Robin Hood finally passed $200 million overseas and now stands at around $306 million worldwide. Unless it breaks out in Japan, it won't pass Costner's Robin Hood OS.

Hmm...a very good performance indeed, studios will definitely get the money back with DVD sales. Considering the competition this is a very good number

I wished the director's cut would have been longer.

It has almost died everywhere now. I am surprised that it is still running in some markets

It's currently at 1.499.667 admissions here.

Remembering what I said when it opened...

Robin Hood will land in the lower part there, obviously, but I still expect around 1.5 million admissions, give or take 100,000.

It still hasn't passed King Arthur, but might just crawl above it. It's a decent performance, no more, no less. Prince of Persia hurt it as it has proven to have somewhat more of a mass appeal and had way better legs throughout the World Cup.

Well, Robin Hood did as expected, with japan it'll probably make it to 335 or so overseas, and with Despicable Me, Get Him to the Greek, Charlie St. Cloud, Nanny McPhee, and Scott Pilgrim, Universal looks to have at least broken their year and a half of troubles.

Hm, no idea. It hasn't opened in any new market after May I think. Won't open in Japan until December.

The overseas run has been revived by the film's performance in Japan.

Current overseas total is at $216.4 million, giving it a worldwide cume of $320+ million.

It had decent legs everywhere, though I am still not sure they will go for a sequel. The budget was way too high for this (200m according to BOM).

I think OS performance is slightly underwhelming due to various reasons, though even with good performance I highly doubt this could have crossed 450m-550m WW to break even in its theatrical run.

I hope they are thinking for a sequel because if they really bring the main story this time it could increase everywhere, though of course they will have to make it in lower budget

I highly doubt a sequel will happen. Even if a case can be made in terms of its grosses, the...feeling isn't there.
