Riddler Penguin Catwoman Mad Hatter Firefly and Two Face are supposedly all here. Given that Reeves have emphasized the mystery aspect it, seems certain its following the long halloween/dark victory eras

Not Two Face again after TDK...

Riddler makes sense because the only big screen version was the ridiculous Jim Carrey one. Penguin could also use a 21st century update although I doubt they can top Burton's take.

Here's hoping for an awesome teaser poster w/ the traditional Bat-logo:

Indian audiences going nuts for TDK rerelease tells how big this film is about to be:

Another reboot with new actor could be subdued like how homecoming was despite good reviews. I dont see it hitting TDK domestic until the sequel if it has amazing reception. I doubt a batman movie will do 1B OS. its too dark for many countries.

That said I hope I am wrong.

Batman doesn't feel nearly as played out as Spiderman does at this point. In 17 years, Spider-man has been the lead in 7 films and appeared in 3 more. 10 movies.

In 16 years, Batman will have been the lead in 5 films and appeared in 1 other. 6 movies. Further helping him is that everyone loved the TDK films, everyone loved Batman in BvS even if the film wasn't great, and nobody really remembers or cares about Justice League.

I think the gap is big enough for this to be feel a bit nostalgic film people who remember how awesome Batman is while still feeling new for those too young to fully experience the TDK trilogy.

I'll say this - it is very important for this to look and feel different than the other films. The nature of the Spider-man movies causes them to all basically look and feel very similar. Would love to see Reeves go full-Burton with Gotham and transport audiences to a different place. Thats one area he could easily differentiate himself from Nolan with no issues.

If this is good and well marketed, I see $320m opening weekend potential .

Wright is obviously perfect as Gordon, Hill is a very interesting pick for Penguin/Riddler

Jonah Hill as the Penguin (what else would he be?) is actually really good casting.

I think Hill would be good - though I cant see him as anyone else then Penguin which is a bit disappointing if that's the villian choice.

Is Slade still going to be a villain?

Wright as the Commish is great though. Big fan.

So it's between this and Avatar 2 (if it is released) for No.1 of the year domestically. This would have to hit its max though and Avatar have a big drop.

Everybody seems to be saying The Riddler will be the films big villain- Hill was supposed given the choice of either character.

There is a rumor going around that they want Jonah Hill and Adam Sandler as the villains though have to decide who plays who. That would be pretty crazy.

Jonah I'm game.

Sandler...it's getting crazy unless he's the Riddler.

After seeing Joker I really want the standalone Batman to be set in the same universe.

Who did Zoe Kravitz sleep with at Times Warner? Mad Max, Big Little Lies, Fantastic Beasts, now Batman for someone who essentially cannot act.
