If true, SR will kick CLERKS II out of the weekend top ten...

That is most likely a typo. In the next sentence she gives the exact same figure for Clerks 2. She is pretty emphatic about it making less than 4M, and it would only need a 3.4 IM to make 4+ (Last week it has a 3.7)

OTOH, she also is known to round oddly at times and 1.1 something is at least a possible number...

Lecter, how will it have a 2.5 multiplier? With summer weekdays, that's crazy. No comedies go that low, unless it's a frontloaded fanbase like Clerks. It'd have to be The Village of comedies. The WOM for this is fairly decent, it's solid B range enjoyable. Under 40 mil and a 2.5 multiplier is impossible. That IM is awfully low too, no need to keep ragging, but if it falls a hefty -5% on Saturday it will still make 15.5. I see a 16 mil weekend and nothing under 50 million total, personally.

Not too bad for Miami Vice - a $24m weekend should be in store for it.

Good for Tucker - about what everyone expected.

Ant Bully - as if this was going to be anything other than a flop. Really - who is stupid enough to open a CGI film one week after another CGI film. Its pathetic strategy. As for Barnyard - expect a opening weekend well under $10m.

Solid numbers for Miami Vice (even though it will have TERRIBLE legs) and John Tucker Must Die (surprising!)

Ouch for The Ant Bully!

Yay for Pirates 2!!!

Wow, anti-crowd reports for Miami Vice. It must have done reeeeally well in areas lke urban Florida.

Not really, no.

Heh, it did solid business... Superman in Imax made more, though. As did Ant Bully.... but it's performances is about on target with the opening.

Everything else performed poorly...

Good numbers all around, not very exciting though, these weekend was easy to pin. I knew the Ant Bully would bomb, good number for MV, I figured it wouldnt make much more than Collateral. Pirates should be able to squeeze over 20 million. Suprising somewhat for Monster House, it might drop almost 50% from last week. John tucker looks to be in the 16 million range, very good breakout success in my book.

I think Superman will finish the weekend at #10 knocking off Clerks II, which is a shame after one week. Im still hoping for a 30 million total.

Ant Bully- a high-concept, (usually appreciated), with decent animation focused(sic) at a centrist audience...
I am a bit curiuos why it opened so-so... Competition??
I have never said it, before.. Where was any ads?? I saw more marketing for 'Chicken Little'....

Movies like this are not known for great multipliers (phenomenons like Mean Girls aside). Look at Scott's theatre :P

Low IMs, but not really weak legs after that.

Surprisingly the people who are in the 50m+ club are the ones who think it wont have bad legs.

When a film drops 20%+ on a Saturday, thats not a good sign. It'll drop 55% next week.
