 Re: Creed - $100m Club Spin offs rarely do well and considering that the Last Rocky barely made 70 million with critical acclaim, Creeds benchmark would need to around 50 million.

Re: Creed - $100m Club Fantastic Four's reception may give Creed a minor obstacle to overcome. Once audiences latch onto criticism surrounding something or someone, it can be hard to brush it off and remain objective in weighing-in another contender.
Hopefully come November the bad taste will have been spat out and their memory wiped from seeing the round-card girls, and audiences will be back up and into another round of Michael B. Jordan.

That's not going to be a problem. Not only will the film be well forgotten by November, but the cast is the least of the film's problems. The stink will remain on FOX and Josh Trank, but no one gave a bad performance so they'll walk away scott-free. The only negative is that Creed won't see an additional boost where if FF had been a hit and then propelled Jordan to another level of stardom. _________________My DVD Collection

Re: Creed - $100m Club It seems to have a complete hold over the adult audiences who are not interested in The Hunger Games, animated flicks, or raunchy R rated comedies. Perfect release date for it. Could easily have been lost in the shuffle elsewhere.
