DVC the movie was anything but fast paced. Me being a sucker for conspiracy theories and history offset it somewhat but all in all it was pretty draggy, with a bored looking Tom Hanks.

The books are pretty badly-written, BUT they are entertaining.
I agree. I dont think 2 books are that good at all.Just that they are so easy to read. I am just stunned by the popularity of DVC. I think ludlum or forsyth wrote much better thrillers.
DVC movie was as good as the material. Only thing is TH seem almost disinterested. Easily his weakest performance I have seen.
I think A&D will be solid outside US. That should save the film for sure.
