I really dont feel this one.

$33m opening, $85m final. It should do better than No.2 but not as big as No.3.

$38.6m opening weekend

It could top $40m. But I have a feeling that theres less buzz about SM4. People want to see it here, and there are posters everywhere.

But here is not America. THe trailer for this one is not as good and neither is the general marketing.

The trailer lacked any real humour to be honest. I groaned more than i laughed.

I am seeing this movie because ive seen the others and liked them. Not because the films marketing is good. Because it really fucking is not. At all.

btw, don't give so much credit to the teens. This movie needs more than just teenage moviegoers to get it over a $30m opening weekend.

I really don't think it can open higher than the previous one.

SM3 opened on Halloween as well....And had a much more appealing cast.

This one has DR PHIL.

SM3 had Pamela Anderson, Jenny McCarthy, Denise Richards and a host of other famous names.

One thing I agree with is that the trailer isn't good, in my opinion. It did, however, receive great reactions at theatres I went to.

The third movie had the funnisest trailer of the franchise, by far. The "Michael Jackson" appearance towards the end of it was hilarious. It was better than the actual movie.

Yeah, people totally went to the third one because of Pam Anderson and McCarthy's 5sec of screentime, these two should be in more movies if they can bring that many to see a movie.

It's not hitting 100 million unless it has an OW of over 45 million.

The question is...how many more Scary Movie films will we see in future with this one almost certainly making big bucks again?

i think anna faris will do a fifth and final. I mean, I hear shes getting paid actual big bucks for the fourth one. She got paid jack shit for the first two i know that much. But this one they had to entice her into.

theres a good thing on overdrive right now with the cast being interviewed.

Anna Faris discusses the Brokeback Mountain spoof and says she believes Ang Lee will see the funny side.

Right now, I think this film is a lock to break the April record, assuming the theater count is above 3,300. It's tracking well with ReelSource and MTC, it's No. 2 on the Yahoo Buzz Chart (with a good score) and it's getting a great number of screens.

I'll say around $50 million 3-Day, for now.

I saw it.

It was funnier than the trailer made it look. It was not as great as part 3, but it was better than part 2.

Anyway, I say.

Isn't it ironic how Scary Movie 4 will make more than both Saw's and possibly the Village & the Grudge?
