I'm sure they won't be just a week from each other, but it's not like either will need a holiday weekend to open over 100 million (assuming POTC 2 has good WOM). Thats the thing - a film like POTC3 doesnt need the Memorial Day weekend to open big. Its even better off the week later (ie. the NEMO spot). A film like Used Guys would benefit more from Memorial Day weekend. _________________

I recently saw some ads for Nacho Libre and the only reason I could think for them to market it at this point was to help it move ahead of The Break-Up in tracking and therefore get them to move. I guess it didn't work.

Summer 07 is getting more and more crowded. I cant beleive WB is going for a July release for Potter!! Dark Materials makes the most of that move.
