I'd rather unsticky Trailer Reactions thread since it doesn't gather enough discussion and is not fully related box office in the first place. I'd in fact move it to Trailers forum instead if there is no objection.

No objection, should be part of the crowd reports anyway...

In addition you could put the question in the Archive thread wether to unstick it. If users demand it to stay sticky, let it stay, but my guess is that there will be almost no feedback...

I would rather sticky the INTL thread...

Shrek 4 has only 221 reviews right now - averaging just 15 each of the last two hours. Even if it hits 300 reviews tonight (which I doubt), it would need a ratio of 15 just to reach a $20m Friday.

There is no way it does sub 20m OW. It would be hilarious though.

Sex & The City 2 has 152 reviews at this hour with a grade of C+.

We're at 181 reviews right now. I project 240 or so at the current pace. I don't see a ratio of 10 for SATC2, so I'm thinking about $20m for Thursday.

It's a shame Yahoo is no longer useful - it used to be a lot of fun. Thought I'd take one final stab at it last night, but it's obviously curtains for our old friend. We sure impressed a lot of people with (generally) accurate projections over the years, so as I bid farewell to Yahoo Review tracking, I extend a special thanks to xiayun, Horlicks, DP07, Zing, and the countless others who kept extensive records, provided insight, and offered their time with hourly updates. We built something from the ground up that we should all be proud of.

So long, Yahoo - it's been a blast. :shades:

Is Yahoo tracking something that possibly has merely trended, or is it 100% useless? I didn't become interested until about the time people started saying it was useless, so I didn't bother. If it's completely useless, is it because of people flocking to twitter/facebook/other now instead?

The ratios are so inconsistent that reliable tracking just isn't possible anymore. It seems the number of users on Yahoo has dwindled the last couple of years. As to where they've gone is anyone's guess, but the rapid growth of social networking sites is a viable explanation.

Huh. Considering what people expected (and taking into account that Sony's supposedly through the roof positive testing for TKK) I expected the situation to be reversed. We'll see how the grades will change after more reviews are added, but I like things just as fine now.

Yahoo reviews are dead, guys. The numbers don't mean anything anymore.

It's not about the numbers, it's about WOM...

Yeah, the grades are still somewhat helpful, but usually not for OW.

Not really sure how others might thing but I saw both and would have given A-Team better rating than TKK. I think TKK is better than B- somewhere around B+ or A- though A-Team I would have definitely given A.
