That's a great weekend in OS markets. It should do another $250m-$300m from holdovers and China should contribute the same amount at worst. That's another $500m-$600m from OS and $300m-$350m domestic.

Total OS : $1,270m-$1,370m
Total WW: $2.2b-$2.4b

Downgrading numbers since China doesn't seem to be headed for $300m. I will still give it $200m being slightly optimistic even though I am predicting $170m China total for it.

Total OS: $1,220m-$1,270m
Domestic: $950m
Total WW : $2,170m-$2,220m

If it ends at the lower end of those projection it will be marginally over F7 OS and lesser than Titanic WW. I don't see Disney leaving it at those numbers as well. Regardless it looks like it will end close to Titanic's WW total and F7's OS total.

On BOM Olive says pre-sales have it looking at around a $30-35M OW (220-200M yuan). That means it would struggle to it $100M there and could kiss both F7OS and Titanic WW goodbye.

Those are REALLY healthy weekdays for SW7 in OS compared to domestic. I mean yes we are comparing one market to ROW but $13m-$14m post-holiday weekdays in OS without China is REALLY good.

Some countries only go back to work today after the Epiphany (Italy, Austria, some regions in Germany and Switzerland, Sweden...).

Interesting. I didn't knew it was 3-week holidays in some countries.

What's a good estimate for TFA's final number overseas? Is Titanic's WW gross safe?

Depends on China. If TFA can do 200m + there than I think Titanic is going down.

Avatar though is safe :(

I am thinking $160m-$170m total from China so there is a slight chance that Titanic WW gross is safe.

From holdover markets it decreased from $96.3m last weekend to $51.3m that's a big drop but its kinda expected given that holidays are now over.

$53m from China is a good number just not record-breaking numbers some were expecting.

110M more DOM (about 3.7x from this weekend)
100M more China (mixed WOM)
150M more OS
360M more > 2.093M WW

The Cameron duo will remain unbroken.

FYI- the Titanic re release did 344 million WW. So TFA will have 2nd biggest run.

Yes but I really don't think that matters at this point.

I am sure the headlines will still say that Titanic stays afloat from the currents of SW7 :P

To my suprise SW7 will probably end around 3 milion admissions in Poland. That's crazy stupid good result. It pretty much will double TPM numbers and 3 times as much as ROTS.
