What an unspectacular year it has become after a strong start with Bibi & Tina 3, Deadpool, The Revenant and Zootopia. Me Before You is the only genuine big surprise this summer. |

I was talking to someone about the Chinese and their copycat ability today. Whenever a new technology comes out, within a month or two the Chinese have half-a-dozen copies out in release. Then I said that Germany does almost the same thing. Whenever a new software platform or app is released, there are a few companies in Germany that just adapt it for the German market and the original gets left behind. It happened with LinkedIn (Germans use Xing) and others. So the Chinese are not so different to the west. |
