They certainly know who their target demo is. Creed will get a promo boost during the Warriors-Clippers NBA game. I think this could be the go-to film for all the urban demo for at least a few weeks until Concussion opens (nobody will care about Chi-Raq). My prediction of $145m total is seeming more and more likely.

The film's producer told a few weeks ago that two sequels are already being planned for this.

Producer also said the second sequel will be split in two parts. Part 1 will have no fights whatsoever and all is reserved for Part 2.

Well, that's just the usual producer garbage talk trying to show faith to the current film. It means very little.

But what I would love to see next is a prequel show Mickey Goldmill's early years. It was talked about before and even "planned" apparently. It could be called simply Mickey. I think it could do very well. It would need someone that is also a Rocky fan to direct it, though. And I mean a proper Rocky fan, not some director that just says he is because he wants the gig.
