I the new album. "Your Type" and "LA Hallucinations" are the truth.

Those songs are quite pleasing to hear, but nothing too great either.

"LA Hallucinations" is just a generic feel-good pop song by a generic white female with an average voice. Songs like this are a dime-a-dozen.

"Your Type" is better. Still, though, her voice is just ultra generic. This song reminds me of a tamer-pop version of a TATU song.

yeah, shame it flopped. I didn't like IRLY that much but most of the album is quite good.

Ah, it flopped? That's too bad - I've really enjoyed the album so far. "Give Me Love" in particular.

Its sound feels much more natural than 1989. I never listened to Kiss before but you can tell on that one too Carly is in the actual songwriter and in creative control category for pop stars

I loved Kiss. She makes quality pop music.

Run Away With Me is the best pop song this year

RAWM didnt stand out on first listen, but yeah its frickin great. Warm Blood and All That are terrific pop songs too.

A shame she will go down as a one hit wonder.

Boy Problems is my favorite

Saw her show tonight. Tons of energy and a really great time.

Yeah, it's pretty great.

"Cut To The Feeling" is hot. She has been on a role for the last three years.

Emotion Part B was so good.

This is good too. Nothing immediate but it's cohesive.

Must say, Dedication is a pretty good album.

This is the best pop album since Taylor’s 1989.

I’ve never listened to the album but I just find this hard to believe. And I’m pretty sure there have been better pop albums than 1989 since then already.

Since 1989 the best pop albums, for me, are Halsey’s Badlands, Lights’ Skin &Earth, XCX’s Number One Angel, Carrie’s Cry Pretty, Ariana’s TUN, Sheeran’s Divide, Kesha’s Rainbow, Maren’s Hero, Kacey’s Golden Hour and of course Reputation.

It’s hard to say whether its better than either Emotion since those, along with CTTF, go together so well. I would currently put Dedicated above the others though.
