Probably Ariana will win album because she’s the female equivalent of Bruno Mars in that she appeals to both urban and pop audiences.

Lil Nas X being there is absurd (even if you really like him, his “album” is only 18 minutes long) but it’s token nomination does properly reflect how weak of a year it was for hip-hop. Chance could have cleaned up at these awards had his album been better received.

Lana Del Ray has dominated the Metacritic top ten lists. They rarely match up with what actually wins at the grammys, but Ari, Billie and Lizzo better watch their backs.

She stands no chance of winning because she wasn't even nominated in her own field (Pop), which is not decided via secret committee unlike the Big 4 categories. Lana was nominated because the committee felt it was her time to be recognized, which I fully support, but she doesn't have much support from actual voters.

Would be great if she did. She's been underappreciated for far too long.

I think this will be the first time I watch the Grammy's. I don't usually bother because it's mostly music I don't care about nominated.

Would she have been in pop? I would have thought alternative. Her album is classified as alternative pretty much everywhere and she's really only played on alternative stations.
