Correct. I gave Revival a C and think its his worst while Kamikaze was great and I’d rank it as his fifth best. |

It might take a listen or two to get past the very very sappy lyrics, but this song is infectous. And while it doesn't exactly take a hard stance against guns, I respect that she is even willing to go there. It sounds silly, but her core audience is very sensitive about the issue, and this could have hurt her big tour next year. The new album is really strong overall and quite easily her best. Pale Waves aren't exactly breaking ground from all the other female-fronted pop-rock bands I like. But singer Heather Baron-Gracie is really good and the beats are dope, so it works. |

I think the album's production is good, but she has always been slightly overhyped anyways. Her vocal style is memorable but there are better songwriters. For someone trumped as if she's a visionary pop artist she wrote less of Body Talk than I realized, there's a lot of Klas Ahlund credits on its wiki. Of the 2010 albums Katy Perry actually had more to do with writing Teenage Dream |

That song is weak indeed...not a good sign. I just heard Rocky's "gonna fly now" earlier and that's just one of the greatest movie songs/ theme's ever. |

Wow is a terrible song and I’m hoping it’s streams aren’t so high that it debuts at number one. It’s Christmas so maybe it will get relatively ignored compared to Beerbongs and Bentley’s. Doubt it though. It probably gets 4m streams first day. |

I disliked Weezer's Africa because instead of making it as Weezer-y as possible, the style was relatively similar to Toto's and just repackaged for the radio hits. The full album looks like more of the same. They mostly sound like 80 songs sung by Rivers |

Yep, from a musical perspective the songs are exactly the same. I’ve seen the words “karaoke album” thrown out there and it fits. But still, I didn’t have to listen to it. And they didn’t put out the Teal album in spite of new music, Black Album will still be coming out on March 1. |

“Harmony Hall” is a solid song. I do they wish they had not reused lyrics from the last album though, feels a little cheap after a nearly 6 years wait. |
