There's no way folks are watching that 6 minute video all the way through. It's not even a memorable video in any way, shape or form. It is a very catchy song which I definitely like though. There must be some campaign to just click and get views.

A lot of people, myself included, don't always youtube for watching videos. It's a great way to just listen to music.

I'm pretty sure, yes. See You Again has been stable at 3-4m a day for months. It will hit 2 billion this summer, and should catch GS early next year.

As for Hello, it depends on when it stabilizes.

Judging from that total on April 1st and its current number of 1.484 on April 30th, Hello's April average will have been around the 2.7 mil per day range. If it ever passes Gangnam it will take a long time to get there. If it gained 2 million a day on Gangna style it would take 540 days from now... but more likely its average gain ends up less than 2 million over that span, I think it's only a little over that mark now

Hello got 1.5b earlier this month. It took longer than I expected, but it's still the fastest to that level. However, it is frontloaded. Perhaps it is due to so many people seeing it right away, but I didn't think Adele had the fanbase for frontloading. It has not helped that they have not been promoting any other singles. But Sorry and See You Again are going to end up far ahead.

Work From Home is going to get a huge total and depending on how it hold it might be a contender. That just goes to show how much YouTube has grown.

The 25 era has basically dissipated (not that it matters after selling so much).

Hello's success was driven by her name more than consumer interest in the song itself.
