Re: Billboard chart discussion thread
Tool finally released their material digitally and it seems to be doing very well. Sober is #2 on itunes right now behind Ariana. I wonder if itll work its way back into the Hot 100.

Re: Billboard chart discussion thread
Tool set a record by having all their albums in the top 20 at once ... yet their heavily hyped new song Fear Inoculum, which was #1 on itunes for several days, could only manage a #93 debut. Shows just how high of a mountain rock music has to climb just to pierce the veil run by streaming hip-hop.

Freaking out. Thinking about what happened in my life while Old Town Road was number one. So much. What an era.

The last time Old Town Road wasn't #1, Ariana was killing the charts (7 Rings was #1)

Wonder if Truth Hurts will get to #1. Would be crazy for such an old song.
Also hope Lover goes #1. Will probably be top 10 this week.

Nice to see another first-timer at the top.
Though Hulu ads have already made me sick of her, much like they did with Imagine Dragons for the last years.

Re: Billboard chart discussion thread
Lover sold 875k which I believe is a record for the streaming era. Reputation didn’t hit Apple Music until a few weeks after releasing on itunes.
Tool is on pace for ~250k which I believe is third highest of the year after Taylor, Jonas and Ariana.
