Rush and Zeppelin are my favs. You can't beat listening to stairway to heaven or 2112 live. Both bands have the best musicians in their field playing in the band. Nobody can deny John Bonham or Neil Peart as being the greatest drummers out there. Jimmy Page greatest guitarist. Robert Plante, not greatest but an awesomely good vocalist. Geddy Lee, one of the greatest bassists and vocalists out there and can't forget John Paul Jones. He can play many instruments and he's very good at them too. Only one who lags behind in both bands would be Rush's guitarist Alex Lifeson. He's really good but he's not the best out there. I also like just about every band in that list. |

I'd also have to add BTO (Bachman-Turner Overdrive) and The Guess Who to my list. Those two bands are some the best of canadian rock ever. |

I love BTO, I saw them a few years back in concert, in fact, they were my first concert ever. The Guess Who sing "American Woman", right? I love that song, so if thats right, they are alright by me. As for my favorites, I love Skynyrd, Zeppelin, AC/DC, Metallica ,GNR, etc.... I could go on and on. I like everybody on that list except Nirvana. I also love George Thorogood, I believe the most underrated artist out there. |

He's got so many classics under his belt that's it's amazing. |

And sorry about putting Nirvana - I just copied a list and deleted some and added some others - Nirvana has been removed. |

Its a shame that most people only know about Thorogood because of "Bad to the Bone". He is AMAZING in concert, I've seen him 3 times. One time he opened for Steve Miller Band, another he was alone (that was his best), and another he played in a B.B. King blues festival thing. Thanks for removing Nirvana from the list. |
