I think we all (hopefully) agree that The Rolling Stones is a great, classic band. What's your favorite song they have released?

My vote goes to Paint it Black.

"Paint it Black" and "Sympathy for the Devil" are by far the Rolling Stone's two best songs.

I love the Stones. Mick Jagger is the best front man in history, and there has never been a guitarist who has come up with as many classic riffs as Kieth Richards.

Sympathy for the Devil is my favorite, but it's even better live. I have never seen an audience more electrified by a song than when they played that live in 1989. I've never heard a better guitar solo in my life than what Richards played that night.

I am surprised that all but 2, 3 with me, named Paint in Black at 1 or 2 - as most of these songs started about 30/40 years ago - Paint it Black never was close to the top rated RS song in any poll that I have seen.

Anyway glad to hear that classic rock still lives today
