Another day, around 20m more views. The idea that it could sustain 20m a day, or anything near it, just seems unbelievable, but you would expect more of a decrease by now. 5 days in I don't think any other song was at much more than 10m.

Oh, and it already has more than 20% as many thumbs ups as Gangnam Style. It will set that record by a wide margin.

"Hello" is like Age of Ultron. "Gangnum Style" was the Avatar of the YouTube views world.

Let's be pessimistic. The way it's holding it probably won't average any worse than 12m per day over the next 12 weeks. That's about 1.15b after 3 months. Then somehow let's assume it holds worse than Dark Horse or Blank Space with a mult of just over 3. That's 3.5b, easily beating Gangnam Style. I'd say that's the floor as amazing as that is. If we are to be optimistic its more like 1.35/6b or more. The only thing I wonder is whether they count repeat views.
