Following Flava'd and Shack's top 80's song lists, I decided to post one too. I don't really feel there need to be some rules, but I'd like to keep it to 1 song per artist and I will exclude the songs which are part of my general top 50 songs I posted a few years back (those are in the spoiler below). Also I planned to exclude songs from Flava'd and Shack's list, as I would like to highlight other great songs, but I'll therefor also limit it to 40. Probably will list 5 each day.

I just came across a song I had forgotten, but which may very well have cracked this Top 40.

Some solid picks in the top 5, can't complain too much about Bruce getting #1 and Dancing in the Dark would have made my top 30 if i didn't pick a different Bruce song, and With Or Without You is great also. I don't know the Opus and Commuter songs all that much. I also have to listen to some of the non Eye of the Tiger Survivor Songs.
