I've been so happy lately with these #1s after that crime against humanity that lasted 19 weeks!

Mostly Post Malone. But I’d say OTR is better than the majority of the top ten, with only Truth Hurts and LYTLM being close.

Circles is solid. Post Malone kind of grew up and become decent

I hope that Dance Monkey song goes #1

This week:
1. The Weeknd “Heartless” (up)
2. Post Malone “Circles” (down)
3. Mariah Carey “All I Want For Christmas Is You” (up)
4. Lewis Capaldi “Someone You Loved” (down)
5. Maroon 5 “Memories” (down)
6. Lizzo “Good As Hell” (down)
7. Arizona Zervas "ROXANNE" (down)
8. Brenda Lee “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” (up)
9. Selena Gomez “Lose You To Love Me” (down)
10. Dan+Shay and Justin Bieber “10,000 Hours” (down

Heartless grew on me. Not quite another Starboy clone, but still think his music lacks inspiration.

Heartless is alright, Blinding Lights is better, but both are much better than Post Malone.

I’d guess that either Mariah or Taylors new Xmas song would hit #1 next week but now it will probably be something featuring Juice Wrld. Maybe the week after that?

There’s 2 weeks left this year, and the sixth day of the first tracking cycle in 2020 is Christmas. So Mariah can probably get 2 weeks at number 1, even if Juice takes next week.

We have yet to see how he’ll hold up throughout the week. Sad! was doing much better than Bandit is when it hit number one, don’t know if any of his songs can hit number 1 with minimal radio support.

Apple music's top ten most played of 2019:

1. Old Town Road - Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus
2. Sunflower - Post Malone and Swae Lee
3. Going Bad - Meek Mill and Drake
4. Drip Too Hard - Lil Baby and Gunna
5. Thank U Next - Ariana Grande
6. Middle Child - J.Cole
7. Sicko Mode - Travis Scott and Drake
8. Suge - DaBaby
9. 7 Rings - Ariana Grande
10. Wow - Post Malone

About what I'd expect, with the only exception being the lack of Bad Guy. Does anybody have the Spotify top ten? I can't seem to find it online.

Prediction: Mariah Carey is going to get her 19th #1 single with All I Want For Christmas Is You, celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.

It hit #9 in 2017 and #3 in 2018, so...

:D

Probably wasn't a surprising prediction, exactly, given the trend, but it's still an incredible accomplishment for Mariah Carey.

Amazing. Song has deserved to go #1 for a long time so cool it was able to do it before the end of the decade.

I will be ranking all 19 of Mariah’s #1s on the main site this weekend. I’m not even that big a fan and don’t know half the songs, but it seemed like it could be interesting
