Shack reached out to me about the whole server thing and it made me decide to look around. I won't be staying though maybe I'll make a post every now and then when the box-office does something truly absurd (Barbiehemmier! what an incredible outcome for two mediocre movies!)

I really was at a low point in life when I left WOKJ which is why I made the decision I made. Apologies for everyone by the sudden decision / nuking of my posts. I just needed to cut off a lot of my old self.

In personal news, I'm married and have a kid now. Maybe the forum will stick around for Magnus Jr to take my spot.

Good to see the familiar posters still around. This place will always mean a lot to me in many ways.

I wonder if this is the most common reason people leave though - just to change something that they actually have control of. Does WOKJ tie you to your old self? Will we get a resurgence of old members who will suddenly become very nostalgic for things that happened in their 20s?

I had severe depression so idk. lol.

The most surreal comeback for me was when Snrub came back for a week in like 2020 to make anti JK Rowling posts.

Sincerely hope that every regular who has moved on has gone on to bigger and better things and every day life is so fulfilling that they forget all about this place.

And if that isn't what happened, and they're going through a tough time instead, I hope they know they're loved and welcome company in old watering holes like this one.

Great to see you back (sort of) Magnus. Hey, the occasional surprise post would certainly be welcome and would spice this place up - like the Barbenheimer bombshell (no pun intended).
