I’m assuming we can travel and then return to the present? The future, definitely. It absolutely looks bleak but I’m so curious, maybe even a twinge of hope to see how humans learn to do better.

but for the smells I’d go to the past. Would love to inhale deeply some pre-industrialization forest or meadow air.

I imagine everything in the past smelling terrible. Lack of hygeine, infrequent bathing, horses shitting everywhere, etc...

The cities where people crapped out of multiple story buildings was not great for air quality

Indians are Asian, as are Filipinos, lol. Typical Yank that doesn't know anything about the world. I went for Asians mainly because of the Japanese. When they're hot, they're the hottest.

I know, though in spirit the Chinese/Japanese/Korean type of asian and Indians couldn't look much more different to me, them and filipino difference is mostly just the tan though.

I voted for Latino men.
to be frank though my sexual / physical attraction seems very racist. I’m mostly into white guys.

I used to have black last but I think I warmed up a bit over the years. Young Beyonce videos have definitely aged well and I find Candace Owens attractive, and I found a new artist Lizzie No this year who is cute. I think the asian (as in chinese/japanese/korean look) never really knocked me out.

Re: This or That thread - #22
I think white celebs look way better than average white girl, but black celebs and average black girls are pretty much equal. Like I think if I ever met SZA I would actually have a shot, but would never in a million years with Taylor.
Asian girls have beautiful faces and legs, but no boobs or butt most of the time.

Vote Brosnan
Having grown up in this era the suave version always felt like the right one to me.

Re: This or That thread - #23
Craig was a great Bond and, I go Casino Royale > GoldenEye, but I was just not that much in the other films, Quantum through Spectre just didn't really do it for me, and the Brosnan films were all some of my favorite ones at the time. So Brosnan has the vote.

Re: This or That thread - #23
I probably like the Craig films more; Skyfall is better on a grading scale than, say, The World is Not Enough, but you just can't compete with nostalgia. Brosnan was my era's Bond, and his films are brilliant. I grew up with Pierce as Bond, plus I just prefer Brosnan over Craig.
Good matchup, though.

Re: This or That thread - #23
Craig easily the best Bond. Love Goldeneye and I have fond memories of seeing Die Another Day in theaters. Don't remember much about Tomorrow Never Dies or World is Not Enough (except the line "I thought Christmas only came once a year.) Craig's Bond just gave his movies an extra dramatic oomph that was a much needed shift for the franchise after so many years of silliness.
Good Bonds -
Craig Connery Brosnan
Meh Bonds -
Dalton (though I admit this is partially because I can't see Dalton as anything but a villain) Moore
Hard to rank Lazenby from his one movie, but On Her Majest's Secret Service is top 4 Bond for me alongside Skyfall, Casino Royale and Goldeneye.

Re: This or That thread - #23
Well if we're including all Bonds (and rating on the actor's portrayal as Bond) then it's a duel between Connery and Brosnan. Craig doesn't come close to them. But if it's about the films in which said actor headlines, then Craig vs Brosnan is the right matchup.
I like Dalton, too, well, and Moore. I never warmed to Lazenby. His film isn't too good so that influences my opinion.

Also, is this the most successful thread in the last year? Six pages since August feels like something that doesn't happen anymore.
